So, it’s been ages since I’ve last logged in and – egotistical as I am – I started reading through my profile trying to figure what demon possessed me when I filled the description box, coming to the conclusion that I needed to spice things up a bit aaand so, here I am writing down a brand new description of myself as one of the best copywriters in the world would do.

Nothing much changed from the last time but since the new audience would not know what was the content of the previous thing, I could say that everything changed and then proceed to copy-paste the parts I like the most (and yes, I intend in doing so **smiley face intensifies**).

Hi, I’m Pina, I’m currently twenty-something (and with that I’m covered for the next four years), I live in a small town in Northern Italy (if I change my location – unlikely since the house market is hell and, you know, these are not great times to make jokes with investments – I will try my best to keep you posted).

I like many things and dislike many others – this is a way to fill gaps – so you’re free to ask away.

I'm yet to let go of some weird habits of mine such as having a certain number of glasses on the table at lunch or dinner to enjoy my meal. But hey: I find it to be a very captivating feature of mine.

What am I looking for? Not to offend anyone but the Internet (the outside world really) is a wild place, so, I’m up to great convos, not necessarily deep ones (even so, we should set the bar to what is to be considered “deep” and what not, then decide which “deep” classifies as “more important” than other levels of “deepness” and I don’t have much time and mental stamina to do that).

That’s pretty much it. Hoping to hear/read from you soon!

    Cheers,
    Pina

  • 저는 ~에 대하여 걱정됩니다.

Apart from global warming, social upheavals due to governement systems failures, the time flowing away and the concept of it as a perception, I'm a nearly positive person, no worries in particular. 🙂

RE 2023: I would add that I'm also a sort of hypocondriac person, so many other things affect me on a daily basis.

  • 저는 ~의 전문가 입니다.

I am an expert at doing nothing but imagining things that somehow can be considered nonsensical or inappropriate. :c

  • 개인적인 기술

I'm also an expert at dodging my neighbor when I happen to go out.
She's a nice lady, don't get me wrong: it's not that I hate her, far from that. She even gives me candies when she bumps into me.
    Okay, now I feel bad.
Don't dodge your nice, old, chatty neighbor, guys. Instead, wear headphones: she wouldn't even notice.

RE 2023: Since I moved out, I don't know where the old lady is (or if she's still with us. I'm also great at deflecting questions as you can see.

  • 다른 문화에 대한 나의 관심

I would be happy to know more about other cultures and the way people are influenced by it.
I'm not that closed-minded, so it would be nice to share some facts about my folkloristic background, and compare it to others'.

  • 좋아하는 책/작가/영화

Last time I mentioned two great movies: "Stroszek" (1976) and "Blow-Up" (1966) (a masterpiece of sensory Art and a modern exposition of the youthful Waste Land) and talked about my crush on sir Thomas Stearns Eliot.

Since we're way older now, I feel like I have to update the list:
    - "Birdman" (2014), I am a sucker for long-shots and fire editing skills, add Emma Stone in it and I'm done;
    - "Les Misérables" (2012), I have the books in French that I'm yet to read because I don't want to destroy the wrapping around but yeah, I'm also a sucker for musicals, Les Mis in particular... Éponine is still my heart and soul.

  • 내가 방문한 도시와 국가

I'm not such a traveler. Not that I hate traveling, but I prefer staying home most of the time (you know, I don't particularly like crowded places).

I went to Spain, a couple of years back, and lived there with a lovely family. I didn't know a world of Spanish but "Hola" so it took time to open up with people. I got lost a few times, on the streets and was too shy to ask some information that I ended up wandering. During my Spanish stay, I went to Portugal too, just for one day. I loved it, there was a bride there and my friends and I took a picture with her, out of joy and excitement. So sorry for that bride to see a bunch of Italians interrupting her shooting. She didn't seem to care, anyway.

Summer 2022: I went to Croatia and Slovenia for the first time. Pretty easy task, everyone seemed to speak Italian so not that hard of a challenge BUT I figured that, in a way (or at least to Croatians) I am a German passing person. I went home asking my twin brother if that is the case, the answer: "Well, if I think of it, your face is kinda edgy", what can I say, he has a point.

  • 저는 ~에 대해 이야기 하는 것을 즐깁니다.

    Literally, any topic.
I just need someone to be open to listen and to share something with me too. I don't like monologues.

  • 1년동안 외국 생활 하기

I'm planning on visiting Iceland, give it a shot with learning Icelandic but failed miserably. The problem is that my attention easily shifts on multiple things and some periods are "Ok, now I overfocus on this"... So, the object of my attention now are Norwegian and Flemish and no, I haven't even started a Duolingo yet (sorry owl).
